The wild colors Gala

In February 2024, we hosted our very first Wild Colors Winter Gala—a student art showcase celebrating artists who have participated at Wild Colors throughout the year.

Our inaugural Gala featured more than 300 pieces of artwork from Wild Colors artists, Cumberland University art students, and our friends at Empower Me Center. In 2025, our second Gala grew to an incredible 600+ pieces of student artwork! Watching this event grow has made the Winter Gala one of our favorite highlights of the year.

But the Gala is about more than celebrating our artists—it’s also a fundraiser with a purpose. Proceeds help provide free art education to children in our community through the Wild Colors Creative Education Program.

Thanks to the incredible support of our community, we are able to offer selected students ages 4–18 an entire semester of free after-school art classes. We are so grateful for everyone who helps us make creativity accessible to more children in our community!
